Saint Jean d'Aulps belongs to the Portes du Soleil ski area, but there is no link by ski, you must take a bus to go to Morzine or Avoriaz.

Some 40 years ago a group of friends dreamed of creating an immense linked ski area in France and Switzerland.
Soon after the Portes du Soleil was born: a wintersports playground comprising 12 resorts, 2 countries – France and Switzerland – and 650km of glorious pistes!
The skiing and snowboarding is among the most varied in the world...the Portes du Soleil's summits and valleys beg to be explored.
