The Ski-Lift Company is taking environmental steps in order to be granted the ISO 14001:

- Using Chloring-free recycled paper for brochures and pistes maps
- Annual rubbish collecting day (in Spring)
- Making artificial snow without using additives

What do these steps involve?

We try our best to limite any problems or nuisances caused directly or indirectly by the company's activities:
 - Improve our rubbish management
 - Rationalize – optimize the use of water and energy resources
 - Organize measures to prevent pollution

Mountain Riders and the "green guide of mountains resorts"

Mountain Riders is an organization set up in 2000. Its aim is to raise awareness about environmental and sustainable development issues among all those involved in the mountains and their lifestyle. Two years ago it organized a green guide of mountain resorts.
You will be able to see St Jean d'Aulps in this guide since 2007/2008.
